Branding | Art Direction
The approach here was to give Paige, the Founder of Bohème Brow Bar, something that was femme, edgy and dark. Queue my pop/punk emo playlist for the entire month of May in 2023.
During our discovery process we learned that Paige was open to a full wordmark, and always thought her branding would include some kind of stylized B. But again, a feminine, edgy, dark B.
The end result: Block type, with tight spacing, and an unconventional 60’s-70’s feel through the counters - complimented by a strong femme edge with those rounded corners. The accent over the ‘E’ is an ambiguous eyebrow shape. Exploring iconography for use in social media, if we tie the ‘B’ and accent together, we’re left with a cool interpretation of the overall wordmark.
