If you’ve ever wondered what you would do in the face of injustice—this is your moment.
Mousa and Shahed are my dear friends. Right now, they are surviving the unimaginable in Gaza. Despite the devastation around them, they remain hopeful, brilliant, and full of dreams.
Mousa is a 20-year-old pharmacy student. He cares for his entire family, including their beloved cat, Micho. He is a rock for his sister Leen, who is autistic and now living without access to her medication. His strength, compassion, and responsibility at such a young age are beyond admirable.
Shahed is also 20, an aspiring doctor who dreams of becoming a heart surgeon. She only had six days of university before it was destroyed. Even so, she continues to study and hold on to the vision of healing her community. She’s gifted in science and math, with a mind made for medicine.
To say their lives are on hold is an understatement. Their futures are being stolen in real time.
For the sake of humanity, they need your support. I promise you with everything in me: you will never regret skipping a latte to help someone survive, to help someone dream again.
I implore you—learn their stories, support their campaigns, and be a lifeline in their future. Be a lifeline in the future of a free Palestine.
