A logo refresh for Tourism Industry Association of Yukon, created in partnership with my dear colleague, Candice, the Founder of Happy Tuesday Marketing and Events.
Sometimes, it's the subtle tweaks that make the most significant impact. A strategic refresh can enhance your logo's readability, versatility, overall appeal, and visual trust.
I was so excited to collaborate with Candice on this logo refresh. Working alongside a brand strategist and client relations expert allows me to dive into the conceptual aspects of logo creation - a literal blessing. Teamwork made the dream work on this project.
After exploring a couple of directions for the refresh, we settled on updating the typography and the shape of the icon, all without straying too far from the original logo's concept.
We aimed to find meaning in these subtle updates to give the new branding purpose and direction that aligns with TIA Yukon's current mission.
I had the pleasure of visiting Yukon for the first time in 2021 – an amazing, jaw-dropping experience seeing the mountains for the first time. Exploring the Northern part of the country I reside in was a big ambition for me when I started freelancing.
